What is StrictlySave?
StrictlySave is a non-custodial stablecoin savings app on Base mainnet. You create named time-locked vaults, deposit USDC or DAI, add funds before unlock, and withdraw only after your chosen date. The smart contract enforces the lock — no early withdrawals.
Which stablecoins does StrictlySave support?
USDC and DAI on Base mainnet. Each vault holds one stablecoin. Choose which one when you create the vault. We focus on stablecoins so your savings goal stays predictable in dollar terms.
Can I withdraw before my unlock date?
No. Vaults are strictly time-locked by the smart contract. Funds cannot be withdrawn until the unlock timestamp passes. There is no admin override and no early withdrawal option.
When exactly does my vault unlock?
Unlock happens at 11:59 PM on the date you select when creating the vault, in your local timezone. For example, if you pick June 21, withdrawal becomes available after 11:59 PM on June 21 — not at midnight at the start of that day.
Can I add more funds to an existing vault?
Yes. You can deposit additional USDC or DAI into the same vault anytime before the unlock date. You cannot add funds after the vault has unlocked or been withdrawn.
Does StrictlySave hold my crypto?
No. StrictlySave is non-custodial. Your wallet signs every transaction and you keep your private keys. Funds sit in a verified smart contract on Base mainnet until you withdraw after unlock.
What network do I need to use?
Base mainnet (chain ID 8453). Connect a wallet such as MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, or any WalletConnect-compatible wallet, and switch to Base before creating or managing vaults. You need a small amount of ETH on Base to pay gas fees.
Is the smart contract verified?
Yes. The TimeLockVault contract is deployed and verified on BaseScan. You can review the source code and audit the logic before depositing.
What happens if I lose my wallet?
Only the wallet that owns a vault can withdraw after unlock. StrictlySave cannot recover lost keys, reset access, or move funds on your behalf. Secure your seed phrase and wallet like any self-custody crypto.
Is StrictlySave a bank or financial advisor?
No. StrictlySave is experimental DeFi software, not a bank, broker, or advisor. Deposits are not insured. Stablecoins carry issuer and depeg risks. Use only funds you can afford to lock until your unlock date.
